Masters of the Universe had already peaked by the time this catalog came out, but there was plenty of steam leftover to make its downward run a still-memorable one. The figures had grown way more intricate and detailed than the previous editions, noted with the new 'Snout Spout' and 'King Hiss' characters. Snout had a working water-gun, and King Hiss...well, his skin popped off to reveal that he was really just a bunch of snakes hiding in a humanoid chocolate shell. The versions of He-Man and Skeletor shown here and pretty rare, and most of the figures that came out later than this are real tough finds these days.
The real prize on this page is the ultra-rare and expensive Eternia playset, a thing of glory few kids ever had the chance to experience. Check out Toys R' Us' SALE price on the thing - 84 bucks. Even by today's standards, that's way more than just 'extravagant.' Physical punishment still hadn't been completely weeded out as 'immoral' by society back then -- kids who asked for something this pricey were gonna get belted.
Today, Eternia is an almost impossible find. Even if you're lucky enough to come across it, expect to spend into the hundreds for a mint set. Also shown on the page are a few Hot Wheels track sets, and some of Clue's cousins from the lost world of Home VCR Gaming. Also note that Geoffrey's son is playing with toy cars in the middle of the page. I hadn't really thought about it before, but that's pretty fucked up.
