Roast my Toast! Scorch wastes no time getting involved, taking great issue with Kool-Aid Man's decision to hold a surfing contest. What dire circumstances led to Scorch's hatred of surfing contests is never explained, but it's probably more likely that he just hated any idea hatched by Kool-Aid Man. We've also confirmed Scorch as a jobless hobo, having nothing better to do but follow Kool-Aid Man around, stealing his vault keys and ruining his sporadic surfing contests.
Now, if you thought Scorch's chosen path of destruction was a little offbeat in the last story, wait till you see what he's got planned this time. He dishes out several evil plots, each more asinine than the next. Opting to throw one of his highest cards out first, Scorch melts the wax off of all the kids' surfboards to "ruin their traction." Sure, it's sort of a roundabout, questionable way to ruin a surfing contest, but Scorch was nothing if not unique.
