Most of the gags featured in this article aren't as exciting as they sound, but "Instant Worms" are pretty interesting. A small white packet containing several tiny pills are all you get, but when you pour those pills into liquid -- STAND BACK! They'll quickly unfold into small, foam "worms" that look more like pieces of...well, small foam. The idea is still gross enough for me to give it glowing praise: C+.
May I now confess my lifelong disgust with worms? I know this isn't a rare trait, but I think I've taken it to new levels. Cannot eat spaghetti because of it, and if I step on a drizzly worm after it rains, I'm pretty much ruined for years. The worms in the water don't depress me, but the crude, squiggly drawing on the package has me so close to throwing up that I must now end this paragraph to go eat Saltines. >>> Close Window
