Admiral Ackbar Figural Eraser (Butterfly Originals, 1983)
Veteran cult hero "Admiral Ackbar" is no stranger to being a veteran cult hero. Lest anyone think that the Internet "birthed" Ackbar's rise to superstardom, it ain't so. While places like Fark have taken Ackbar out of the fans' hands for a more everyone-can-love-this-freak approach, Star Wars nuts immediately recognized the unseen greatness hiding behind Ackbar's red head the second he came onscreen some 20+ years ago. We knew it was nonsensical to introduce a squid as one of the Alliance's top dogs in what amounted to the final minutes of a six-year-spanning storyline, but despite anyone's best effort to hate Admiral Ackbar, it just wasn't possible. The dude was just too cool. And he had Popeye forearms.

The figural eraser was based more on Ackbar's appearance as a Kenner action figure than his look in the film. Or maybe it wasn't. It'd be interesting if it was.
