Darth Vader Figural Eraser (Butterfly Originals, 1983)
And there he is, the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, ready to take on all of your pencil misfires with a blend of sweet scent and rubber so dark it leaves marks all over your paper. Vader rarely got to cross his arms in the movies, so he was sure to capitalize on Butterfly's lazy research by doing it here. It's not a great look for him.
If you've clicked into several of the eraser reviews, you've probably noticed that they all come in different packaging. In a testament to Butterfly and their vow to be the best damned figural eraser makers on God's green earth, each package background reflects the particular character's scenes from Return of the Jedi. In this case, Vader gets the Emperor's throne room, complete with that neat window. You know the one. Originally retailing for 97 cents at Wal-Mart, the eraser's current value is closer to...oh, a buck.
