Gamorrean Guard Figural Eraser (Butterfly Originals, 1983)
Of all the Star Wars-related merchandise out there, the collection of scented figural erasers from Butterfly Originals are some of the most undervalued. These were just awesome, detailed to all heck and super cheap to boot. There were enough characters (and enough of a good mix of characters) to make them perfectly collectable in the same vain as Kenner's Star Wars action figures. Even though these dudes were about half the size of the counterpart figures and weren't poseable, they made up for it by smelling really fucking good. I don't say that just to say it -- seriously, if you had one of these, you'd be re-smelling it at a rate of a hundred times per hour till the day you died. Usually shelved in the stationary/crayon/art section of toy stores, many young Jedi nuts likely went through their entire childhood never knowing about these. Poor, poor souls.

The Gamorrean Guard eraser looks adequately enough like the pig guards that vaguely protected Jabba's palace in Return of the Jedi. All things considered, the paint job is top notch -- I'm even willing to forgive the fact that they passed on painting his sandals, if only because I'm in such complete and total shock that they even went through the trouble to detail said sandals in the sculpt at all. As you could guess, kids considered these things more as action figures than as pencil faux pas evidence eliminators.
