R2-D2 Die Cast Pendant (Adam Joseph, 1983)
I'm down with this one, if only because it's so rare for little boys to find any jewelry that doesn't make them look like an idiot. Okay, maybe an R2-D2 necklace would've made 'em look like an idiot, but only in the eyes of those outside their social circles.
The chain is of low quality, but they didn't skimp on the pendant -- made entirely of die cast metal, R2 has been meticulously painted, even if the results are a bit sloppy. Rather weighty for its size, the pendant/chain combo is much more fun to fling around in loops on your index finger than it is to actually wear. Besides, R2 is chunky in all the wrong places. If you get punched in the chest while wearing this, you'll need to trade R2 in for 2-1B.
