CHAMPION: MEGATRON (32%, 428 Votes)

Despite early leads by Skeletor, the Decepticon leader's might was eventually too much for the rest of the ballot to handle. Megatron wins the gold medal and has the distinction of being the Official X-E Greatest Cartoon Villain of all time.

SILVER MEDAL: SKELETOR (22%, 333 Votes)

It's a bittersweet ending for the Skull Captain, having been in the lead for a good part in the poll. He demanded a recount, but all he got was some chuckles over his grossly over-echoed voice. Skeletor's main complaint was that he couldn't possibly be any more villainous. After all, he has a frigging skeleton for a face. Sorry Skel, the voters have spoken.

BRONZE MEDAL: COBRA COMMANDER (18%, 257 Votes)

Cobra Commander is positive that if we didn't keep making fun of him turning into a giant snake in the GI Joe movie, he would've been the victor. Still, the bronze medal isn't all that bad. His prizes will include a 10% Macy's discount coupon and several still-in-package Space Monkeys figures.

RUNNER-UP: SHREDDER (13%, 202 Votes)

Obviously, Shredder isn't pleased. He gets no medals or special prizes. He didn't have a bad showing considering that fact that he was up against such stiff competition, but definitely a dissapointment for ol' Oroku.

BIG LOSER: STARSCREAM (13%, 195 Votes)

Starscream is absolutely despondent. He was beat by seven votes. And he's covered with giant flies. No matter which way you look at it, the alleged 'most popular Decepticon ever' would rather this poll be forgotten as quickly as possible.

Some of you took the time to write in a lot of 'witty' comments into the poll count. Let's review some of the best ones...

'your an asshole and you have stupid opinions and Britney Spears said she's a virigin today witch means if I get her first she won't know how bad I am!'

Response: I don't know who this guy's talking to. Apparently he's telling the poll that it has stupid opinions. I'm really not sure what to make of it, but I'm pretty sure it equates to something like 'I can't wait to see what everyone says about MY comment! I'm fucking hilarious!'

'Cobra commander sucks McBeth Meat'

Response: Some odd grammar in this one. Why my 'meat' is capitalized, I'm not really sure. I mean, yeah...it's legendary, but this was a little overboard. Add that in with 'Commander' being written in lower-case, and I'm pretty certain that that little Toad guy who hung out with Magneto was toying with the poll comments.

'they are all gay'

Response: Starscream and Cobra Commander maybe, but I really doubt Shredder was gay. He couldn't match his outfits well enough.

'Shredder is the man but would lose against mega man'

Response: Apparently I've fallen out of the loop of video game lore. When did Mega Man become a villain?
