Earlier today, Mumm-Ra, sworn enemy of the Thundercats, was found using a new "catch-phrase" during a heated battle while attempting to steal The Sword of Omens. The catch phrase used by Mumm-Ra, "Mumm-Ra be backin’ dat ass up, bee-otch!" evidently took the Thundercats by surprise. As a result of this, The Sword of Omens was nearly lost.

Thundercat Panthro had this to say, "Man I don’t know what got into that foo! It wasn’t no ebonics he was spewin’ doe!" Panthro, being voted "most ghetto Thundercat" by the Thundercat fan society in four out of the last five years (Snarf somehow came away with the ’98 award) knows his ebonics well. Other Thundercats were too alarmed at Mumm-Ra’s new choice of words.

"It scared the heck out of me!" noted chief-Thundercat Lion-O over-enthusiastically, "I nearly dropped The Sword of Omens right into Jackalman’s hands!" Fortunately for the cats, the lighting-quick speed of Cheetara saved the day. She too, admits that she was startled by what Mumm-Ra had to say, but didn’t let it prevent her from fulfilling her duties as a Thundercat.

"Mumm-Ra’s catchphrase caught me off guard, but when I saw Lion-O drop the sword, I did what I had to do," said Cheetara modestly. Even Mumm-Ra’s team of hired mutants were surprised by his new "attitude." Leader of the mutants, Slythe, said, "I don’t know what the hell he was-s-s thinking. Vulureman s-s-says he s-s-saw Mumm-Ra watching Def Comedy Jam las-s-st night though…"

Whether or not Mumm-Ra was actually watching Def Comedy Jam last night still remains unknown. It should also be noted that the amount of Chris Rock albums in Mumm-Ra’s possession is also uninvestigated. However, Mumm-Ra was reached for comment.

"Yo, bitch! Back up directly! You be tryin’ to steal Mumm-Ra’s flava?" said Mumm-Ra undeviatingly, "You dare to taunt Mumm-Ra the ever-fucking-living, cracka-ass?" Mumm-Ra then noted that he had "a good mind to be slappin da’ piss outta yo’ honky ass."

Not soon after threatening this reporter, Mumm-Ra and his goons were disposed of easily by the Thundercats with the simple usage of an everyday mirror. Mumm-Ra had this to say about the easy defeat, "Mumm-Ra’s flavaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!! I’LL GET YOU LION-O! ARGH!"

A conquered Mumm-Ra and his mutants were spotted last making their humble way back to Mumm-Ra’s Pyramid and Castle Plun-darr, respectivly.

Unfortunatly, Ma Mutt was not reached for comment.
