GREMLINS ATARI GAME

Believe it or not, there's been almost as many Gremlins video games over the years as there have been different Zelda, Metroid, and Mario titles. Sadly, Gizmo isn't that versatile and most of the games are pretty laughable. For example, in the Gremlins II game for the NES, you have to make the little monster wander around a hall, avoiding bats and sporadic tomatoes that appear to be in the realm of 3' long. While the earlier games have some of the worst graphics you can find, at least they stayed a little more true to the stories. Almost. In the Atari version, you played Billy Peltzer, swashbuckling sword master who had to fend off dozens of 'Gremlins' that looked more like Hispanics in wizard caps attempting to do the Charleston...

It wasn't pretty, but outside Ms. Pac-Man, nothing really was on the Atari.
