The archives themselves are a much bigger issue. I'm not exactly sure how to go about creating them. Back when they were still up, the archives were done purely chronologically, which was nice for a keepsake but very messy overall. This time around, they'll be categorized and much neater. I'm keeping a large batch of the older stuff I've done which I don't particularly like in a subsection called the 'Vault,' where they won't necessarily be promoted much but still up for perusal if you're ever bored.
One of our cats looks exactly like Theo from The Cosby Show. It's uncanny. I keep waiting for it to read things backwards and steal my car.

me and my brother went and bought a fighting fish each on your recommendation. Mine is Koopa (from Mario bros.) and his is Hansel (Zoolander). Koopa is kool looking dark blue with pink streaks at the end of his fishy mullet.

Muzak, basically in order of frequency: New Order, Garbage, Duran, Depeche, etc. Most of the stuff I listen to are remixed one-hit wonders. Usually Razormaid mixes.

I think the site is starting to get to me. I was at my local super Walmart here at ISU last night, and found a huge bin of DVDs for $5. All contained were bad, bad movies. A few of which have been reviewed on this site, and I considered buying them for the soul purpose of being influenced badly. My friend luckily pulled me away, but then I found a bootleg and cheap, but exact version of Devastator, the Constructicon. It was the special toy of a huge easter basket, all 5 constructicons were exact, just were made of cheap plastic. The thing was 10 bucks, my friend would have taken the candy, but I'm a college student. Money is short. But, I did hide it in the toy section behind a few educational toys no one will touch until the Christmas Renovation. But my only reason to buy it was again, this site. No other real purpose, I just thought it'd be nostalgic or just a little weird to have a bootleg Devastator on my shelf. But it could easily pass for a real one eBay, I might be able to pull a $40 profit. Should I? Or is that fraud? I'll throw in a stapler, maybe that'll sweeten the deal.

btw, getting the archives done is really cool. well done matt your site slaps ass with both hands. and that's official cos the 'tin man told u. i waana say i hope u get the broken pics sorted in ur old articles. esp "ebay succed without really trying".
that article inspired "dirtykutfreak" to become an ebay seller and he bought lots of crap before realising ew didnt have a credit card. :D

I just wanted to say that this site is becoming a bad influence. I can't pass a Dollar Store (the Canadian equivalent of a 99 cent store) without going in and invariably wasting money on something insane. Just today I picked up a Sports Watch for $1.50 (10 cents US). What got me was that it has nothing to do with sports. Or time. Or watching. It's a "gun" that launches little foam "jets" that have intimidating slogans written on them like "Go Fire!" and "Fly!" (It's too bad the planes don't listen--they neither catch on fire nor fly, just kind of pop forward and then fall).
Thanks for distracting me from the work I should be doing.

Yes! Finally, the archives! I've been reading the site since mid-December last year, so I'm betting there's a lot of content that I'm yet to see.
Oh, and I agree, doing HTML can really be a pain. Fortunatley, I have limited HTML knoledge, so nobody really expects me to make a fancy site. Also, I lerned a good part of what I know from looking at source code from here and I-Mockery, so I guess a thank you is in order. Thank you!

are the bad taste fans New Zealanders? If not how did you find out about it? Peter Jackson made 3 low budget splatter films, including bad taste, then brain dead, probably the best of the three, and meet the feebles, a spoof of the muppets, featuring plenty of drugs, pornography, and STD's.
they wouldn't br good stuff for matt to review, as they're not, as someone else said, unintentionally funny. You should still watch them though, matt :D
oh and you should listen to some stereolab matt, it's a band you'd probably like, looking @ your music taste o_O

This week we're finally getting the site coded, so I'll be able to get the archives done. Believe it or not, nothing except this blog has been done dynamically since the very early goings, meaning that every article is actually written out in html. For a site of this size and update frequency, that's absurd. Having to do things that way adds on approximately an hour to every article, plus all sorts of problems. Once we're finished coding, correcting mistakes and missing links on past articles will be infinitely easier. Hopefully this'll be conductive to writing more frequently without feeling rushed when I'm putting the finishing touches on an article because of all the extra grunt work that currently needs to be done afterwards.
