This is completely unrelated to anything, which is fine because that seems to be the trend half the time, but I finally saw Return of the King last night and... damn. I dunno what the hell they did to that book, I mean not only was the ending completely wrong but I don't remember the book being that... gay. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing gay people here, but while the last book had it's share of something going on with Sam and Frodo this movie looks like it's only moments away from becoming softcore gay midget porn. If you've seen the movie, you know what I mean when I say "slumber party, anyone?". I could have accepted this, if they hadn't completely destroyed the ending. I understand they have to keep the runtime down, but why not cut out part of the total hour and a half where Sam and Frodo stare lovingly into each other's eyes? I guess that is why I'm not movie director.

He's been defacing Xmas cookies and feeding them beer and cats...no that can't be right.
Odd thing-yesterday I sat here at my desk and admired the neighbors' large lighted reindeers. Today either they're not turned on or someone stole them. Either way it's kind of sad. Also sad is the fact that my little Lego skeleton has a human head instead of a skeleton head. I can't find the right one :(

Kitty doesn't look too happy being up to his nips in the snow.
See, the pictures are out of order, that's why it's been difficult to decode the message. What it is, in a nutshell is this:
It snowed. A lot. And the kitty was drinking holiday themed beer and went out for a piss when he got locked out. So, poor kitty sat in the snow and smelled the cookies being baked inside and fell asleep. He had a dream of a zombie-deadite (whatever) thing that convinced him he was wronged.
When kitty woke up he managed to break a window and sneak in. He rummaged through the Christmas ornaments and found a giant glass-like plastic snowflake which he used to murder Matt as he slept peacefully.
Oh there were better details to it than that but you get the basic idea.

ok here's my theory:

Pics 1 & 2: Matt's car broke down and there was no food.

Pics 3 & 4: Because the nearest supermarket is too far to walk, he had to bake cookies for dinner. The beer bottle was used as a rolling pin surrogate.

Pics 5 & 6: The cookies were a success, but the cats kept trying to eat them, so...

Pics 7 & 8: Matt kicked them out, which upset his girlfriend and caused her to transform into 'matt's madd girlfriend'. She...

Pics 9 & 10: totally wrecked the appartment. Busy with cleaning up, Matt has no time to post anything but a confusing collage explaining what happened. His keyboard got demolished to the point where every key produces a question mark.

Is that the answer Matt? One question mark for yes and two for no.

Ahh snow...how I miss it. In Reno, "snow" means an inch or two overnight that melts by 11 AM. Unless it's 6 AM and you're coming out of a casino after an all-night gambling jag, you'll miss it.

OT: Matt, have you ever reviewed Starcade? I caught an episode on the Video Game Channel. It was horrid! They had a thirty something guy w/ a bad comb-over vs. Little Orphan Annie w/ a buzz cut. Every game was a different version of Asteroids and the graphics were horrendous (although, what could you expect for 1982?). Surprisingly enoough, Alex Trebeck was the show's host for the unaired second season pilot. I wonder how much he'd pay to keep that information hidden?
